I’m Cindy Heid, artist, educator, and owner of Your Art Matters Studio.

With nearly two decades of experience in art education, I’ve spent my career teaching artists of all ages that strong art begins with simple foundations—just like red, yellow, and blue on a palette. After retiring from public school teaching, I turned my focus to creating an art experiences that blends solid instruction with creative freedom.

At Your Art Matters Studio, I offer private lessons, workshops, camps, and community paint events designed to help artists develop skills, confidence, and their own creative voice. My approach emphasizes fundamentals, exploration, and purposeful mark-making, creating a supportive environment where every artist feels capable and inspired.
